Costs and Accuracy

FIFO (First In, First Out) matches each sale to the oldest stock you still hold, using the price you paid for it. For example, if you buy 10 units at £5, then 10 more at £7, your first 10 sales use the £5 price and the next 10 use £7.

Yes, Amazon's inbound shipping charges are spread across the units in the shipment and added to their landed cost. If you pay for shipping outside of Amazon, you can add the charge through our Shipments page.

Yes, bundles, multipacks and merged lots are all handled through the reconciliation page.

Azentro compares what you sent with what Amazon received and highlights any shortfall, so you can claim for the missing units.

No, Amazon's API doesn't allow connected apps to submit claims, but Azentro identifies any lost stock that hasn't been reimbursed, ready for you to claim.

Returned units are added back to your inventory once Amazon has received them. If a refunded item doesn't get returned, you'll be notified so you can follow it up with Amazon.

VAT and Accounting

If you're VAT registered, Azentro works out the VAT on your sales and the VAT you can reclaim on stock, prep and Amazon fees. If you're not, VAT isn't accounted for.

No, Azentro works the same whether you're registered or not. VAT is only accounted for once you turn on VAT Registered in Settings, and only from your registration date onwards.

No, Azentro records the VAT on every transaction, ready for you or your accountant to submit your return.

Yes, every figure on your Profit & Loss traces back to the purchase, fee or settlement behind it.
